Acupuncture
What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a form of traditional East Asian medicine that dates back thousands of years. Fine, sterile needles are inserted at specific acupoints located on meridians throughout the body to promote healing, balance energy flow, and address a wide variety of health conditions.
What conditions can acupuncture help with?
Acupuncture may help with the following conditions:
Mental/Emotional:
- Stress & Anxiety
- Depression
- Insomnia
Pain Management:
- Chronic Pain
- Back & Neck Pain
- Headaches & Migraines
- Arthritis
Digestive Issues:
- IBS
- Acid Reflux

Women's Health:

Does it hurt?
Most people are surprised at how relaxing acupuncture treatments are! The needles are thin and flexible - about as thick as a human hair. They're nothing like the thick, hollow needles used for shots. Most patients feel little to no sensation during insertion. You may feel a tingling or slight heaviness, which means your body is responding to treatment. Many people fall asleep during sessions!
How many treatments will I need?
Every person responds differently to acupuncture. For acute conditions, you may see results quickly. For chronic conditions, it typically takes 6-12 treatments to notice significant changes. Think of acupuncture like an exercise routine - consistency is key! Your practitioner will create a personalized treatment plan during your initial consultation.
